A quote is easier to compare when the model file and production requirements are clear. FilamentLab reviews the file before confirming the final scope.
Check units and geometry
Export STL or 3MF files in millimetres and check that the mesh is watertight, the normals are correct and the part has no unintended gaps. Very thin walls, disconnected shells and missing details should be corrected in CAD before upload.
Describe the printing requirements
State the material, colour, layer height, infill target, support expectations, surface finish and quantity. If the part is functional, identify the load, temperature or flexibility requirement so the review can flag unsuitable assumptions.
Add the commercial details
Include the delivery country, required date, post-processing, packaging and whether a sample is needed. For a repeat order, attach the approved revision and reference the previous batch.
Upload the current model and requirements through our 3D printing service. If the geometry needs manual review, the final quote and lead time are confirmed after that check.
